Delegates will be accommodated at the comfortable Tolous Lodge in the heart of the Namib Desert. The Lodge, located in Southern Namibia, is safe and accessible by 2x4 vehicles. It provides access to some of the most scenic areas in the Namib. The accommodation consists of 2 bed units; each unit has hot water and a shower as well as a 220V power point. There is a communal dining area that will also serve as a lecture and projection facility. Refreshments and bar service is available at the Lodge at your own cost. The courses are 1-week duration. They include formal teaching on the creative aspects of photography, field excursions into the desert and a 2 nights camping trip to Sossusvlei *. Film processing will be provided allowing delegates the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on their photographs and maximize the learning experience.

Film processing is not included in the fees but will be done at reasonable cost. The courses are suitable for accomplished as well as inexperienced photographers. The course fees include tuition, meals, accommodation, camping fees at Sesriem / Sossusvlei*, as well as transport on field excursions, where required. Workshop Fees

*Delegates not wishing to camp at Sesriem may be accommodated at their own expense in the nearby Mövenpick Desert Lodge for the overnight trip to Sossusvlei. Please advise early so that the necessary bookings can be made.
